The RADIANS research program is sponsored by multiple US federal agencies and national laboratories:
- National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA): the NNSA Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation sponsors our research to detect, find, identify, and characterize special nuclear material (SNM) usable in nuclear weapons
- Department of Homeland Security (DHS): the DHS Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) sponsors our research on the forensic analysis of irradiated nuclear materials and post-detonation nuclear fallout
- Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC): the NRC sponsors our research to develop new methods for digital data acquisition (DAQ) and digital signal processing (DSP) of fission neutron and gamma measurements
- Department of Defense (DoD): the Army Research Office (ARO) has sponsored RADIANS to develop active neutron interrogation measurements for characterizing concrete bunker hardness in partnership with Troxler Labs
- Sandia National Laboratories (SNL): RADIANS and Sandia have partnered to develop a new, high-efficiency neutron scatter camera to image fission neutrons
- Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL): Oak Ridge has sponsored RADIANS to develop accelerated simulations of gamma spectroscopy measurements
